I haven’t yet visited the cellar door at Kies Family Wines in the Barossa Valley but having tasted their wines and viewed their web page (www.kieswines.com.au), I would really like to do so. Beautifully crafted wines with exemplary fruit characters were the recurring thoughts as I tasted the wines of this family-run boutique estate. The family has been growing grapes for five generations. The 75 acres under vine on the estate give home to Riesling, Frontignac, Semillon, Bastardo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz.
