A fishy tale

0608fishing1_2.jpgDr Ainslie Waddell and his mates recently made their second epic trek up north looking for ‘the big one’. The first time he braved the 2000+ km trip, he competed in the Big Horse Creek Barra Classic on the Victoria River, where he reeled in a barra 99cms long! This time he went up there for the adventure, and between sightings of five metre crocs and the occasional encounter with a bull, he and his mates managed to catch fifteen fish between 80 and 95cms. Not a bad haul!
